I’m so excited to introduce myself as the proud owner of Fredericton’s newest cheer family—Nitro Cheer Elite!

For the past decade, I’ve had the privilege of working as an educator, where I’ve built my career around helping young people discover their strengths, push toward their goals, and experience those unforgettable “AH-HA!” breakthrough moments. In 2024, I was incredibly honoured to receive the Minister’s Excellence in Education Award, a recognition that reflects my deep passion for teaching and student success.

My journey has always been rooted in creating opportunities for youth. I’ve contributed to writing the New Brunswick Automotive Curriculum and had the amazing experience of starting and coaching the Females+ high school drag racing team at Fredericton High School. Whether in the classroom, at the track, or now in the gym, my goal has always been the same: help students and athletes believe in themselves and reach their full potential.

Nitro Cheer Athletics was born from two things close to my heart—my love of fast cars and my daughter’s passion for cheer. From that spark, Nitro came to life with a vision of excitement, adrenaline, speed, and focus. With racing-themed team names, fiery uniforms, and a drive for success, we are ready to bring the heat to every practice and competition.

As an educator, I truly believe in supporting the whole athlete. That means going beyond just skills on the mat. At Nitro, we focus on building healthy habits, promoting safe sport practices, and developing strong, confident individuals. Good habits make great athletes, and I’m committed to ensuring our athletes grow in a way that supports both performance and long-term well-being.

Our programs are built with intention—skillfully planned lessons that emphasize technique, proper form, and consistent practice. My goal is to help athletes master their skills safely so they can enjoy and succeed in this sport for years to come.

Community is at the heart of everything I do, and I’m working hard to ensure that same sense of connection and support is felt at Nitro. I want this to be a place where athletes feel encouraged, families feel welcomed, and everyone feels like they belong.

We’re opening this May in Fredericton, and I can’t wait to welcome you into our dynamic, high-energy space. I truly believe that once you experience Nitro, you’ll want to be part of the Nitro Cheer Crew.

Let’s bring the heat!!
